COMFORT IN A PIECE OF HISTORY

The farmhouse was built by the Sawyer family in 1790 to serve the Sugar Run Farm, shortly after the historic towns of Campton and Thornton incorporated, and only 14 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence by Matthew Thornton himself. The farmhouse remained with the  Sawyer family until 1989. Since then it has been fully modernized while retaining all its orignal features and run as an historic B&B until 2014. Featuring 4 poster beds, antique furntiure, original farmhouse decorations. Now available for vacation rental, fully laden with fun vacation activities for all the family.

The farmhouse is located just yards from the Mad River, on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. Nearby, Route 49 is a featured 'leaf-peeping' must-see in October. The house is a 10 minute ride to the slopes of Waterville Valley Skiing and a host of incredible outdoor activities to suit all ages.

On the other hand the farmhouse stands in scenic beauty with 1.5 acres of land featuring apple trees, fireflies, deer, stunning views, a large firepit, and heaps of space for lolling around.
